Suzuki Samurai Build - Malta

Post by JoeConti » Thu Jan 01, 2015 2:23 pm

After 3 years of waiting my Samurai is finally ready. Been out on the road for 3 months now and have taken part in a couple of club events.

Here is a before and after pic

Like that a lot! Looks like you swapped the grille for a 410 grille - I'd like to do that too, as I think it'd be fairly easy to modify it so air can pass through, but it stops mud. Got build thread?

Oh, and :welcome2:

Sadly no - got a slide show uploading and will share that soon.
The front grill was replaced for a different reason. The original one was in my garage and happened to find someone breaking down a Maruti Gypsy. Same fit and it was a bargain. Wanted to keep mine as spare in case .. you know .. but when I upload the slide show you will see what esle I've changed in it. You'll be surprised what little there is left of the old Samurai :)

Thanks for the welcome :)

We've got quite a few members over in Malta, and (hopefully) a bunch of us bums are going to road trip it down your way this summer. It'd be great to get a good look at your wee beastie!
