Another good weekend. Plenty of cider. Was good meeting up again and meeting some lads for the first time.
Made is back home in 4hrs. The Zuk ran awesome all weekend, cracked on down the motorway at 65 pretty effortlessly. Averaged 25mpg which i'm pretty happy with.
The front wheel bearings were showing signs of wear when i checked them a few weeks ago, they are now dead. Luckily i have sevwral sets of spares. Just need time to fit them.

Before leaving, I checked a few things - lights etc. Dodgy earth on the lights caused them to light up in a way that was a bit confusing, but someone (Ralph I think) found the dodgy earth and all was good. Checked the rad - very low, so made a mental note to fill up before leaving. Took a few bags of trash out, then completely forgot to find the standpipe and fill the rad - and drove back to London.
On the A406 temps started to get high and I remembered I'd forgotten to fill up, so I found a garage, let her cool down and filled back up. By the time I stopped, I think she was bone dry.
And smelling HOT.
Sometimes I don't know how this poor vehicle survives the abuse I throw at it!
Anyhow, despite my idiocy, it was a *superb* weekend, much fun was had, very relaxing, and the SJ didn't let me down at all (even if I let the SJ down).
Looking forward to the next meet!
