Hello from south wales

Post by Sparks » Tue May 12, 2015 3:59 pm

My name is Dominic, or Dom. I am already a member of two other suzuki forums and was told good things about this one, so I thought I would join up and have a look around. Hopefully get to know people and learn a thing or two.

I drive a 1996 suzuki vitara. Owned it for around 5 years and havent stopped smiling.

This is what it looked like when i first bought it.

Thought I should put a tech spec up.

• 3 inch Bits4vits body lift with fuel tank lift.
• 3 inch Calmini super articulation kit suspension. (Merc front springs)
• 30/9.5/15 kl71 mud tyres on 8 inch modular rims.
• ORA winch bumper with a tigershark 9500lbs winch.
• ORA rear steel bumper (courtesy of Dave, or should I say stealth).
• Rock/tree sliders
• x4 100w flood lights on the roof rack (lights currently removed as they were getting smashed on branches, soon to be put back on the new roof rack).
• Bits4vits front recovery bar.
• Safari snorkel from.....you guessed it....bits4vits (cheers for all the products Dave).
• Welded towbar inbetween rear body mounts (also acting as a mount for the tank lift).
• Homemade rear recovery points (using left over towbar and scaffolding tube)
• CB radio that also is handheld.
• Rear LSD
• More recovery kit than I can post.

Future plans involve:
• ARB air lockers front and back (currently saving for)
• Acme VW conversion kit
• 33 inch tyres.
