Finally got me a 410

If you are a competent welder/fabricator then yes but it's not simple or cheap and the legality of it is a bit of a grey area

Re: Finally got me a 410
When I had great big shackles on my SJ, it handled like a dog. It took a hell of a lot of strength to turn the wheel at low speeds, to the point where parking was near impossible - and I'm no small lad! When I went back to standard geometry, suddenly it handled great. Not sports car great, but compared to how it was with long shackles, it was awesome.
Why do you want to get rid of the leaf springs?

Technically, so is YJ conversion, but probably a little darker grey, that's all...ScottieJ wrote:If you are a competent welder/fabricator then yes but it's not simple or cheap and the legality of it is a bit of a grey area

Re: Finally got me a 410
Was just thinking a coil spring set up would give a better ride but after looking at the work needed I'll just get new leafs and see how the handling is and if its still shit look at the geometry thanks for the advice guys
Re: Finally got me a 410
make sure you fit normal shackles when you fit the new springs otherwise your handling will still be crap
Re: Finally got me a 410
Got it, any recommendations on springs?
