thanks mate :) its a shame its now demolished lol . ordering the steel for mkII over the next few days and will be fully TIG welding it rather than MIG this time. Will be interesting to see how the next one turns out .....

Sounds good :thumbup: is the design going to be the same with the new one? Only thing i would do different is the lateral bar, I would run it parallel with the edge of the top of the cab instead of in towards the centre of the Main hoop; it will protect the bodywork more and look better IMO.


We never did get any :snap: of the damage your winch caused come on boyo post it up :poke:

it will be along the same sort of lines as before but just change all the little niggly bits i didnt like! and ok ok i will dig them out tonight and post em up :) . Gutted cos im missing out on the winch competitions while its off the road/mud :( :bawling:

Wow haven't been on here in forever!

Hi everyone, some of ypu may remember me from when I was building my Zuki winch challenger.

I may possibly have to let her go soon, would there be any interest at all?

The spec is all the same minus the cage (destroyed itself, centre winch went off over night).

Will post some recent pics soon, just testing the water at the moment.

Looks like they were hosted on facebook and someone deleted them (or the account they were attached to has been closed).
1985 SJ413VX (SJ50V) with SPOA, rear disc brakes, 31x10.5R15 Kaiman Malatesta tyres, an MOT and a lot left to do!
