tyre size on my gv
tyre size on my gv
Hi all new here, just bought my 04 gv last week 1 owner 72k with full history, while giving it a clean I noticed the tyres are different front and rear. The rears are 235/60/16 and the fronts are 225/70/16, all a fair condition. im sure they should be all the same size. so what is the best size, also what pressure is best hand book says 26 psi but the look very soft at that.
Re: tyre size on my gv
gv s should be 215/65 .16 or 235/60.16 all 4 must be same size to avoid transmission damage

Re: tyre size on my gv
Don't use 4wd with different sizes of tyre on there, especially on the road (you shouldn't be using 4wd on the road anyway) as you will cause transmission windup.
I don't think it matters too much if your tyres aren't quite the recommended size (most of us are running bigger than stock) just so long as you have a matching set.
