Advice on lift springs

Hi, I'm looking to lift my truck with add a leaf, has anyone done this before? What do you need to change if I go for the 70mm/2.75" lift?

Shouldn't need to change much, maybe need longer brake hoses. Add a leaf is quite a harsh ride and can damage the original leafs, I know its hard I had them on my old truck

Maybe just go for the 3" lift from Llama. £400 with no bushes is a bit steep, but it'll last.

Why do you want to lift the truck? If it's to fit bigger tyres, then consider a virtual lift (cutting and welding the arches) as it's the cheapest option and often the easiest. And results in the most stability.

Essentially it's the best all round "lift" unless you are after a truck that's very high for the sake of it.

This is the chap who started the SPOA thread Anton so he's obviously decided on lift springs.

Add a leaf doesnt really give much lift apart from returning tired springs to their original ride height but then because they are old and tired they start to fold around the end of the new hard leaf.

If price is your problem you could fit your existing rears on the front and then find some 2" lift springs or some bedford rascal springs to use on the rear for a 2" lift all round.

Don't go add a leaf, they are uncomfortable as hell!
Pretty sure as well that with harder springs it tended to transfer more impact force into other parts of the truck and break things

Ok, mixed advice.. Iv got 195/80 15 tyres. I would like to lift the underside/ leaf springs/ transfer box ect. What is the best way on a budget?

If you have 195 tyres you shouldn't really need any lift for them... only on 235x80r15 or bigger really
You can even get away with that size without lifting... just
