SU Vacuum hole

I see on posts that some re drill vaccuum pipe hole, my SU has the hole slightly air filter side of body does this still need drilling.

Isn't that hole on the bottom of the carb? Normally the vac takeoff is on the top?? Can you take a pic of the vac point on the outside?

Yes it is the bottom of the carb but it still just (Only Just) air filter sde of the body

As long as its on the air filter side then it's fine.

I had an SU that I was going to fit & that was the same with the vac takeoff point in the correct position, you should be fine with that!

Yes mine is the same as pic 2.
All being well Sunday is the first fire up day !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
