Post by timwilks13 » Fri Jan 10, 2014 9:14 pm

Undone the bolt at the side of the water rail on the 1.6 block, and it spins round freely but wont come out, have I missed something?

I used my friend MrPrybar, was covered in silicone though, is that cause for concern?

Nope, it's quite common to find silicon as well as the o-ring.

Excellent, got some spare rings at home, let's find one that fits!

Next issue, when I push the 413 rail in, it goes all the way in and the holes don't line up?

That's unlike any 1.3 water rail I've seen before

O-ring is an uncommon size that you won't find in your average assorted box
27.7mm ID X 3.5mm

There is an imperial size just a fraction larger.
