the no dosh LJ revamp
Re: the no dosh LJ revamp
Maybe some clear sheet affixed to make a kind of divider
behind the seats, may help. To keep the front part warmer.
Just reducing the volume of air to suit the heater.
Perhaps a blanket or something underneath the soft top section
above the seats to insulate a bit more
My kja heater used to roast me because the cab area was so small.
But the tin top sami would take longer to warm and lose all the heat quicker due to the extra space.

You'd be amazed how cramped an LJ cockpit is. I have a leather flying jacket but I can't drive the thing with it on! I think I'll just live with it. I have the Vit for this time of year and as soon as it gets a bit warmer that will get relegated to 2nd car lol.

Re: the no dosh LJ revamp
Been busy fixing various rattles and squeaks. Discovered both door latches were not even bolted to the body so I sorted that. Doors should now close properly but no...then a really annoying rattle cropped up and that turned out to be the nearside window glass. Took off the door card thinking the glass wasn't seated on the runner but all was fine. Turned out one side of the door was missing that felt that stops the glass moving when it's wound up. So I made some out of draught excluder and all good now. At the same time the door cards got recovered in black plastic as that camo was getting a little worn.

Looking good, as usual!
I wish I could get out to work on the SJ. With my health the way it is, and going downhill, I'm seriously having to consider getting rid of the old gal.

Cheers lads.
Anton...what needs doing? Maybe I can come over and fix it for you. Don't ever sell it as you will regret it.
