Re: the no dosh LJ revamp
MOT tomorrow so did a few bits. Scottie's donor indicator works fine and that was all that was amiss really. Last year I got the joys of the actual DVLA tester for the first (and hopefully last) time. He was ruthless but could only give 2 advisories. Slight play on front wheel (no there isn't) and brake lines too far from the chassis. Bollocks are they that's how Suzuki made them!
But I found a rusty diff so that went back to metal and is all painted. Fingers xxd.

Passed. No advisories. Possibly the quickest MOT ever. 15 mins and most of the time we were discussing his VW Golf lol!

Revamped the dash. Not bothering with a stereo. Unless there are tiny ones available...

I’m sure Dan had an amp thing that just had a on/off and socket on the dash and the amp hidden somewhere

Wow that is tiny mate thanks for the link. Yes an amp would be needed with 2x15w lol. I will have a search around for summat. Prefer a non bluetooth one really as it drains my phone having that turned on.

Apparently you can connect a phone to a amp, using one of these https://www.dx.com/p/3-5mm-to-2-x-rca-a ... 97KKhqnyhA
I haven’t got a amp anymore so can’t try it out

I use one of those cables to plug my phone into my AV reciever sometimes. Works fine.ROBBIE wrote: ↑Sun Nov 04, 2018 10:30 amApparently you can connect a phone to a amp, using one of these https://www.dx.com/p/3-5mm-to-2-x-rca-a ... 97KKhqnyhA
